Handmade Ceramic Coaster Set

These are seconds — handmade pottery pieces that didn’t quite meet our first-quality standards.

Many people love the character these small imperfections add.

What qualifies as a second:

• Pinholes or irregularities in the glaze

• Slight differences in size or shape

• Air bubbles

• Marks in the clay

• Minor dents, chips, or cracks on the base

• Warping or a slightly wobbly base

All pieces are fully functional and the price reflects the imperfections while still offering beautiful, handmade pottery.

These stoneware coasters have been handmade on the potter’s wheel, using speckled clay. They are finished in a beautiful white, green or blue glaze. These are perfect to rest your drinks on and they have cork mats underneath to protect your surfaces.

Due to the handmade nature of these items, there may be small irregularities (not perfectly straight or round.) There may also be variations in the hand mixed glazes I use. This adds to the charm of handmade ceramics!
